Earlier, scholarships were given by the central and state governments through different schemes and rules, but the students were not getting the benefit of the schemes of the state governments. So far no new initiatives have been taken in post 10th scholarship since the year 1944 so this scheme has been started to suit the present times.
This scholarship scheme is announced by the Department of Social Sciences and Officials under India SSC Entrance Examination. Any candidate who clears this examination will be awarded a scholarship and a scholarship. This scholarship is provided by the government and the candidates will be required to clear the entrance exam which is conducted by the National Testing Agency.
