If salt is added separately to cooked food, it harms our body.


We need to eat food to keep our body alive and when we cook food we add salt to it. We don't like to eat food without sweet, we don't taste it. But many times when we sit down to eat, we find that the cooking is low in salt, so we add salt separately. But it is harmful to our body, damaging our bones and the intestines of the body. 

According to WHO, a person should eat only one teaspoon or five grams of salt during the day. Eating more salt harms our body. People who already have heart and kidney disease should not eat too much salt. 

• Consuming more than necessary salt causes damage to the body. 

• Eating too much salt causes water retention in the body, just like keeping salt in the open absorbs moisture, it also absorbs water in the body. 

• Consuming too much salt can cause diseases like goiter. 

• Consuming too much salt increases the risk of heart disease and blood pressure. 

• People who consume too much salt have weakened bones.

To keep our body healthy, salt should not be used excessively. Whether we make salad or any breakfast at home, we put raw salt in it but it harms our body.
