At present, many areas of South Gujarat have received heavy rain, some areas have received more than 10 inches of rain, now Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Kutch, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat Navsari, Valsad may receive heavy rain in the next 3 days. 

In many areas in Gujarat, rivers have flooded due to rain. While most of the dams have already overflowed, Dantiwada Dam in North Gujarat is also on the verge of overflowing while heavy rain is being predicted in the coming days. At present, if it rains, the farmers' crops will also benefit. 

Due to the heavy rain in the coming days, the Meteorological Department is appealing not to go to the seashore. Heavy rainfall can occur due to eructation in the sea.
